WOLFBURN Single Malt Whisky – Morven
The peated expression of Wolfburn Single Malt takes its name from the highest point in Caithness, a brooding peak largely surrounded by open moors and wetlands. All around Morven lie peat deposits dating back over 10,000 years, from which peat was harvested to fuel the original Wolfburn Distillery.
TASTING NOTES
“Initially smoky with hints of fruit and fresh sea air. On the palate floal notes are sugmented by hints of cereal, Followed by vanilla and light spices. Te residual tang of peat smoke gives a lingering finish.” SHANE FRASER, Distillery Manager
